Will be on display in the Upstairs East Gallery of the main museum building. The photographic exhibit will showcase the Vietnam experiences of local men and women who served in the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines by viewing the pictures that they took to capture their tours of duty.

Month-long display of art Celebrating & Honoring Military Heroes from children of military families in Cumberland County Schools.
May 2
Art 'Celebrating & Honoring Military Heroes' from children of military families will be revealed at the Airborne and Special Operations Museum and will remain on display throughout the month, thanks to K-12 students at Cumberland County Schools.
During a special ceremony, three winners of the art contest will be announced and given prizes. Mayor Chavonne will also present commemorative coins to children of fallen soldiers, in honor of their parents who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
May 8
As part of Military Families First, visitors will be able to make a Blue Star Banner. Banners are set in windows of homes where a family member serves in the military during a time of war.
